How do I create a 1x Campaign
One Time Campaigns
A large library of templates and images are available to help build impressive campaigns directly from the dashboard.
To build a campaign, click on the 3 third tab under “Patient Engagement”
The library can be accessed by clicking on Create New, and Choose Templates from Library.
Custom templates can also be uploaded by clicking on Choose File.
Select the template category then click on the chosen template. (All templates can be customized)
Inside the Template builder, the picture can be swapped, the verbiage edited, and content added to personalise each campaign.
To swap the picture, click on the picture and click on “change image”
Upload a new picture from your computer, or use or large library of pictures by clicking on “Search free photos”
To search the free photo library, type in a word describing the picture you’re looking for
Select the chosen picture. It will be stored in the dashboard so it may be reused easily
To edit the verbiage, simply click on the field to edit and write.
The MMG Fusion system can pull information from the practice management system (such as Patient’s Name, address, phone number, etc…) so you may use dynamic fields to customize your templates.
Please always test that the dynamic fields shown in are pulling the information correctly before sending.
Below is a list of the common dynamic fields supported: (others may be available by contacting your dedicated account manager)
Hyperlinks may also be used to customize templates by highlighting the section to be hyperlinked and clicking on the hyperlink symbol.
The “URL field” should include the complete link and “Text to display” should include the verbiage to be displayed.
Content may be added to the template by dragging the content icons to the center of the templates. This includes text, images, buttons etc...
Different sections of the template may be deleted or duplicated by clicking the text box chosen and click on the trash or file symbol
The display of the template can be altered by clicking on “rows” and selecting a new display
Size and colors can be altered by clicking on “settings”
Although it is not recommended, unless done by an expert, the system does allow for the templates to be edited through HTML by clicking the “HTML” icon and entering the code.
When done building the campaign, always remember to click SAVE to move on to the campaign settings.
Email Campaign Settings
Campaign Name: The name of campaign inside the Dashboard
Email Subject: The title of the email campaign sent to patients
Schedule campaign: Date and Time the campaign should be going out. May be left blank while the campaign is not ready to be sent yet.
The campaigns may be filtered in different ways to target certain patients
Manage Providers:
- No Filter: The campaign will be sent to all providers
- Exclude patients that… : The campaign will be sent to all providers except the one(s) selected
- Include patients that… : The campaign will be sent only to providers selected
Manage Patient Status
- No filter: The campaign will be sent to all patients (Active + Inactive)
- Exclude patients that… : The campaign will be sent to all patients except the one with the status selected
- Include patients that… : The campaign will be sent only to patients with the status selected
Manage Appointment Codes
- No filter: The campaign will be sent to patients who have appointments with all appointment codes
- Exclude patients that… : The campaign will be sent to patients except for the one(s) who have appointments with the appointment codes selected
- Include patients that… : The campaign will be sent only to patients who have appointments with the appointment codes selected
Manage Operatories
- No filter: The campaign will be sent to patients with appointments in all operatories
- Exclude patients that… : The campaign will be sent to patients with appointments in all operatories except for the one(s) selected
- Include patients that… : The campaign will be sent to patients with appointments only in the operatories selected
Exclude Patients
- No filter: The campaign will be sent to all patients
Patient Filter Option
Age
- Allows for a range of patients to be targeted
Contact
- All Patients: All Patients will be targeted
- Targets patients who have scheduled appointments (within a range of time “From, To”)
- Targets patients who haven’t scheduled appointments (within a range of time “From, To”)
Last Visit
- Targets patients who have been in the office within the period of time entered
Zip Code
- Targets patients with the Zip code entered
Exclude duplicates
- Checking the option with send 1 campaign per email, even if the email address is used for multiple people
Text Campaign Settings
The same process can be used with text messages with the exception of the visual template editing which is not necessary for text message campaigns as it is not supported. The set up is done directly from settings.
Note that there is a charge for 1x Text campaign - The fee is 0.035/text message sent
To estimate the maximum number of text messages to be sent in a campaign, click on the little wheel in the upper right corner of the settings page. This will display the total amount of patients on file.
Campaign Name: The name of campaign inside the Dashboard
SMS Template: The message to be sent to patients. There is a character limitation of 140
SMS Opt Out Template: The Opt out message to be sent to patients. This space can also be utilized for a signature. There is a character limitation of 50
Schedule campaign: Date and Time the campaign should be going out. May be left blank while the campaign is not ready to be sent yet.
